I had an issue with a purchase and was able to contact the dev and get it resolved. They went above and beyond to fix the issue. They deserve every one of these 5 stars. The game itself is simple but amazing and does not require purchases. Very good for false beginners getting back into studying. I'll check out the other apps too. TYSM!

Really awesome tool for learning. The learning is simple to pick up, and easy to play on the go(though you probably want to use headphones). All the micro transactions are really fairly priced and transparent(though the $4 one is maybe too efficient compared to the others). Also the artists they picked are really something.

It's a fun game with great music. Maybe I'm alone in saying this, but I find it easier to recognize and read symbols (Hira, Kata, Kanji) in everyday Japanese writing when being able to draw them first (to memorize). Edit: I definitely understand the vocab vs grammar aspect. It just helps me in real life situations when I can memorize the symbols, as well as say them. +1⭐ because I found out you can scroll through the scrolls (overviews); I didn't notice that before. Thanks for the response 👍

Hi Michael, kawaiiDungeon's focus is mainly on vocabulary, while kawaiiNihongo is teaching you mostly grammar. You can review each dungeon's vocabulary in the overview.
